Jet Slade is an original story and fictional character devised by Edmahoo. Ed first came up with the idea in 2014, he wanted to make a film the that featured locations in his hometown of Leeds and Yorkshire.

Ed was adamant the lead actor would be played by a female; he is a huge supporter of female actors taking on the lead role. Below is a short video snippet taken from the Featurette of lead actress Bridget Mae on film location being interviewed by Ed, the director.

FILM SCORING & MIXING
INTERESTING FACTS: When Ed composed the soundtrack Jet Slade: Rise of the Black Hood, he scrapped the original idea, it just wasn't working so he rewrote and recomposed it all again from scratch. This new bespoke composition is tailored to each scene adding tension, drama & atmosphere that you just don't get with a generic soundtrack.

A self-taught musician of over forty years, Ed used his extensive knowledge of music fusing authentic orchestral sounds with synthesizer elements. When laying down the ideas for the soundtrack, he layered sounds using midi fade controllers to add the subtleties needed to make the instruments sound authentic, creating a twenty-four-track original extended motion picture album.
